The journey begins in 2016
Thailand Tours was born out of pure passion for the smiling nation. Jakob, the founder of Thailand Tours, has years of knowledge about the country. First as a tour leader and globetrotter and later as a Thai-Danish family father based in Hua Hin.
From the city of kings (Hua Hin), Jakob has managed Thailand Tours with local knowledge and insight that few outside Thailand have. Many Danish guests have enjoyed this through tailor-made experiences in Thailand from north to south, east, and west.
A new beginning starts in 2023
After about 7 years, Thailand Tours is ready for a new adventure. On November 1, 2023, Jakob handed over his life’s work to Marie, who takes over the baton and continues Thailand Tours with respect for the great work Jakob has done.
Fortunately, he wants to continue his commitment for Thailand Tours and will be connected to the team in the future. He will do this from our office in Frederiksberg, where we sit with a view of the Saint Mark’s Church and its characteristic dome.
Besides Jakob, we are lucky to also have Sidse on the team, and they form a strong and experienced team that knows Thailand better than many others. Whether you want inspiration for a hotel, excursion, restaurant suggestions, transfer or something else entirely, you are in the best hands and can always expect an honest answer.
